Rolled Construction PlansAs I mentioned in my last post, our worship ministry is going through an intense time of vision setting and core building that we are calling ReStart. As we head into the fall, when school starts back and people settle into a stricter routine than we enjoy in the summer months, it is always a good time to refocus and refine systems and programs. Our ministry has plans to try and improve several aspects of our music and our processes and we have been trying to begin by seeking God and getting everyone on the same unified, um, “piece of music,” if you’ll pardon the pun.

Devotional Thoughts

city-tour-guideFirst, a funny story that shows how church music has evolved over the years. My worship pastor is out of town this weekend and I am filling in for him. I told my mother that I was “leading worship” at three different services this Sunday and so she started telling everyone that I was preaching. It’s a good thing for everyone that she misunderstood what I meant by “leading worship.”
