As I write this, our area is bracing for its first real winter storm of 2015. Forecasters are calling for 3-5 inches of snow. I like to see the snow, to watch it fall, and see how pretty everything is when it is covered with the white stuff. I’m old enough now that I don’t really look forward to it sticking around for any period of time, since I generally have to get to work regardless.
But much greater than the snow covering the ground and the trees is the grace and love that God will cover us with when we turn from our sin and turn back to Him. The prayer where we humbly ask God to forgive us in grace is a prayer that He will rush to answer! That’s the idea behind the song that backs my newest video, “Cover Me.”
